EMDR & IFS Intensive

A mountainous landscape with a cloudy sky, sunlight breaking through, featuring green and yellow foliage, rocky terrain, and patches of snow on the mountains.

Deep healing. real relief. in less time.

If you’ve felt stuck in therapy—like you’re making progress, but it’s slow or surface-level—this might be the shift you’ve been craving.

My IFS & EMDR Blended Intensives are a one-time, immersive opportunity to go deeper, faster. This extended session is designed to help you explore the root of what’s keeping you anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected—and walk away with clarity, support, and tools you can actually use.

What’s Included

Each intensive includes three parts: a pre-interview session, your intensive therapy block (you choose Option 1 or 2), and a post-interview session for reflection and integration.

2 hour Pre-Interview

We’ll meet either in person or virtually to gather history, identify your strengths, explore attachment patterns and communication style, and set your goals for the intensive.
Completed 1–2 weeks before your selected intensive session.

1 hour Post-Interview

This session is your space to process key takeaways from the intensive and talk through next steps for your care or continued therapy.
Completed 1–2 weeks after the intensive.

Why I Offer Intensives

Traditional weekly therapy is incredibly helpful—but sometimes, you need more space. A longer, focused session can give us the time to go deeper without rushing, and help you experience meaningful relief that lasts.

I created this format for people who’ve done therapy before but haven’t quite felt the shift they’ve been looking for. It’s for the ones who are ready to understand themselves in a new way—and feel supported every step of the way.

If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, let’s connect. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to make sure this is the right fit for your needs.

  • All credit cards, debit cards, FSA and HSA cards are accepted. Cash and Venmo (@Wildstrengththerapy) are also an acceptable form of payment.

  • Wild Strength Therapy does not take any insurance, including Medicaid. I am considered an out-of-network (OON) provider. This means I can offer you a more personalized therapy service without the interference of an insurance company. The biggest reason I am out of network is that I value your privacy. Insurance companies require me to give you a mental health diagnosis, which becomes part of your medical record. Although a mental health diagnosis can be very helpful to some, others may not be comfortable reporting their diagnosis to an insurance company. This can be a major reason people do not want to use their insurance benefits. However, if reporting your diagnosis is something you are okay with, I can provide a “Superbill” for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. **Please note for intensives that I do not provide a Superbill and have clients sign an opt-out form for insurance.

  • A superbill is a document made for insurance companies that details the services a therapist or health care provider performed for a client. People often underestimate how much of their superbills are eligible for reimbursement. For more information go to: https://www.thesuperbill.com/blog/what-is-a-superbillI

  • Yes, I have a 24 hour cancellation and/or reschedule policy. I allow for one free cancellation within the allotted 24 hours, as I know unpredictable life events happen. After the one time freebie, all cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours of the session will be billed the full fee of the session.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059

  • View of the Grand Canyon with layered rock formations, greenery, and a clear blue sky.

I have a 15 year old son who I struggle to connect with. I found Alicia’s experience with school counseling and my own parenting needs met with compassion, knowledge, and understanding through her private practice. I would highly recommend her to work with parents, as much as I would trust her to work with my son.

    C, 45, male

  • Night sky filled with stars and the Milky Way galaxy visible over a lake with a rocky shoreline, trees, and a faint glow on the horizon.

Alicia allows me to be who I am. She accepts and applauds me, without judgement, for who I am. She is fun and friendly and holds me accountable. She allows me to go where I need to during our sessions, and will also provide suggestions if I need to see or move in a different direction. She has truly made me come to believe that it’s never too late to get to know yourself better.

    J, 62, female

  • Mountain peak with snow, silhouetted against a colorful orange sunset sky.

I highly recommend Alicia! Alicia is incredibly understanding and intuitive. I have worked with several therapists and I have stayed with her because of how safe of a space she provides. I talk about things with her I have never talked to with anyone else because of how inviting Alicia makes it. She never makes me feel obligated to talk, and yet, I find myself opening up to her because of how safe it feels. Alicia is creative in how she helps conceptualize my problems and would highly recommend her (and already have) to friends and family.

    K, 35, female, LGBTQIA+

  • Snow-capped mountain range with green rolling hills in the foreground and a cloudy sky above.

Before coming to Alicia I often felt alone and crazy. Alicia has been so honest with her own mental health issues and has made me feel seen and heard more than any other therapist I’ve been to. She is relatable, friendly, and without her, I would not be coping as well as I am with life.

    - E, 21, female

  • Sunset over silhouetted mountain range with vibrant orange and yellow sky.

Without Alicia I would be in a negative space constantly. Alicia makes it easy to talk about anything I’m struggling with. She is knowledgeable, she’s resourceful, and provides helpful feedback. I have learned so many new coping skills, and find them easy enough to use to get through my day.

    - A, 42, female

  • Mountain landscape with snow-capped peaks under a starry sky.

Alicia is very empathetic and does a fantastic job mirroring emotion. She gives me the space to sit with whatever emotion I’m in without trying to change it. She’s like a long, lost friend that I can just pick right back up with every time we meet. She’s truly a rockstar therapist!

    - S, 30, male

  • Mountain range during sunset with snow-capped peaks and reddish slopes under cloudy sky.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I started counseling. Alicia has helped teach me breathing skills and we do more than just talk. We color, play games, and sometimes just listen to music if I don't feel like talking.

    -N, 14, female

  • Sunset over snow-capped mountains with a pink and orange sky

Alicia is client-centered. She gives me the space to work out my own problems, but provides different strategies and methodologies (IFS, EMDR) to help me find the best way through. She has a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate that she comes to every session with empathy and an openness to help.

    - C, 23, male

  • A scenic view of a deep canyon with towering red rock cliffs on both sides, a lush green valley at the bottom, and a partly cloudy sky overhead.

Alicia is very wise and knowledgeable. She doesn’t judge me or others. She laughs at my overly-sarcastic humor and makes me feel heard. Alicia always tells me, not necessarily what I want to hear, but what I need to hear. When I talk to her it feels like I’m talking to a friend.

    -T, 18, non-binary

  • Scenic view of Yosemite National Park featuring towering granite cliffs, snow-capped mountains, a lush green forest, and a waterfall, under a partly cloudy sky.

I have nothing but great things to say about Alicia. She’s a fantastic counselor and helped me with some things I didn’t think I’d be able to get through. She’s authentic, has great reasoning skills, and our sessions helped me become more confident in my understanding of self and my own challenges.

    - J, 27, male

  • Night sky filled with stars and the Milky Way galaxy above mountain silhouette.

I have been with Alicia since 2022. She is incredible. She has worked with me specifically regarding being a single mom, career challenges, relationship conflicts, childhood wounds, and literally anything I bring to her office that week. She actively listens and helps walk you through the emotions/feelings/thoughts one might be experiencing and challenges you to dig a bit deeper. Alicia and I have worked together through EMDR therapy, Internal Family therapy, meditation, and talk therapy when I REALLY need to work through a specific situation. She brings experience, empathy, compassion, and insight every single time. Highly recommend Alicia if you have ever struggled in the past to connect to a therapist.
